UYFC Vice President Hopes for a Successful BACII Exam

PHNOM PENH:​ The Minister of Environment Say Sam Al who is also the Vice President of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia is hoping for the best for the youth taking the BACII examination. He says that in the past, the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia has supported young people who have failed this year's exam to improve their education and to help them get good results in high school exams on 27-28 December 2021.

Speaking to the media after witnessing the opening ceremony of the high school exam at Preah Sisowath High School on Monday, Minister Say Sam Al has said that it is the nature of work of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia as for education, as well as the 12th exam. They are opening courses to help students study and participate in the observation of the exam. He has expressed confidence in all students taking the exam.

He says, “There are two reasons. First, we believe in the ability of our students. Second, we believe in the organization of the Ministry of Education."

The Minister of Education, Hang Chuon Naron has said that due to the Royal Government's good management of Covid-19 disease, it was possible to pass the BACII exam normally, almost like when there was no Covid-19 disease, but the Ministry of Education still required teachers as well as students to adhere to safety principles to prevent Covid-19. He added that this year's exams are not compromised, but they have to maintain the same standard of exams, avoiding being mentioned as a Covid-era diploma exam.

He says, "This year's degree, like previous years, is a valuable degree that adheres to the principles of the Ministry: the principles of law, principles of justice, principles of transparency will be reliable so that those who own a company or a school. There is continuous discrimination, which is ingrained in the heart or feeling bad."

The high school diploma exam for the academic year 2020-2021 is taking place from 27-28 December, with 114,183 candidates. The results of the exam will be announced on 18-19 January next year.
